Soda Springs, Idaho
A few summers ago we spent a week discovering new places in Idaho that we had not seen before. One afternoon we got to see Soda Springs Geyser erupt and the photos I took were the reference for today's painting. Yes, it's still "sky week", but this is another kind of interest in the sky. :)

Love it. Love the yellow grass with the tracks going into the distance, love the bushes, love the falling drops of water, love the sky darker blue above the geyser and fading lighter beneath. Your talents ARE growing, my friend! I'm off to spend the evening working on my thesis. Oh, I hope I can say the same thing for my writing that I can say for your lovely doodles.
