Snowy Morning Sky

This isn't supposed to happen in March where I live. A snow day?? However, I could hardly wait to get outside and go for a walk, where I photographed a sky reference for today's painting.

    Love the "powdered sugar" on the fir branches. The sense of movement in the sky really caught my attention, as well as the light in the middle.
