Tahoe View Trail

Yesterday's scribble art curiously left me feeling energized, so of course I need to conduct further experiments to see if the effect lasts. For most of this painting I was thinking..."what a mess!", but then, as the final marks and lines were added, it seemed to come together. What fun!

  1. So I'm guessing that the black lines go on last...and maybe the underlying colors can be a little less precise since the black lines add the clarity of the shapes? I really do like the look. I'm glad it's turning out to be a fun process for you.

  2. You guessed right! The lines are last. Although, I usually add a some color changes or highlights here and there, and if needed touch up the lines again. It is more fun. I’m going to continue exploring this technique.
