Here's another velour "softie". We hiked into the wilderness one day this summer and passed right by this beautiful meadow with blue flowers blooming profusely. I would tell you what they are, but I forgot! This painting is kind of like walking into my memories....a little fuzzy around the edges!

The lupine was in bloom that day. My eye is drawn to the darker trees in the corner. Makes me think of life's contrasts.
