This has been a crazy, busy summer for me! Last week alone was exhausting, but wonderful. We spent 8 days backpacking in the wilderness with some dear friends and loved it...but it took me several days to recover, ha ha! (I don't sleep well in tents...)
Anyway, I decided that a sweet little bird was the way to get back into painting, so here is a little Blackburnian Warbler. I've never seen one before, but it's certainly a lovely bird, don't you think?
