Clackamette Fishermen

Phew! This one was tedious. I really liked the scene, though, with the late afternoon warm sunshine and those long cool shadows. It was hard to resist. I think it's done, but I'll let it "rest" a couple days and then decide. If something bothers me about it, I'll go back in and do a fix.

  1. Was it tedious because of all the detail work on the riverbank? It looks like that rocky, rocky beach. I love the way the light glows on the river in this painting. And the bridge, and the trees in the distance. It really is lovely.
