Another Starry Night

The Daily Paintworks challenge this week is to paint the "starry sky". At first I planned to do a normal sky, but then my friend suggested I try doing a version of Van Gogh's famous painting. What a fun idea! I notice that many, many artists have painted from the same original reference, so I felt it would be a learning experience for me to do the same thing today. Seriously, it was! It was incredibly fun, as well as amazingly challenging, and that's what the task is all about. I loved doing my own, highly simplified, variation of "Another Starry Night".
